Casey,
I love the photos. You’ve been living life, breathing the fresh air and of course spending time with you awesome brother. You caught some nice size fish, I hope you grilled over the fire! So glad to see the smile on you face. Thanks for sharing with us. I’ve missed you. M

Hi Melinda long time no talk. Lol
How have you been doing? I’m going to start posting again. I know I can help a lot of people who are struggling with depression or anybody who is physically disabled by sharing my story with them, and letting them know that life is amazing and so worth living!! You have the power within yourself to control your destiny.
Just wondering if you could add me back into the survivors blog? I’ll only post stories of my journey living with paralysis. And how to overcome the impossible

Casey…..where it that enthusiasm to get back in the saddle? Life getting in the way. You started the blog to help people and you have. Posting the highs and lows give people hope and ideas. I want you to be active, you are an inspiration, use that to help you and others. Thinking of you.

Sorry I was MIA for so long, I just became addicted to social media and staring at my phone for hours on end, and started to really stress me out. So I kinda just disappeared into the forest for a few months. It was just what I needed.
If there is one thing I could recommend to anybody it would be to not be a slave to your cell phone. Turn off all notifications so you’re not being distracted every five minutes and go into seclusion in the wilderness for a month or two. Your stress and depression will melt away as your mind gets a well deserved break. There are so many stimulations in today’s world that one can become overstimulated. Which can lead to all sorts of bad things to your overall health.
But like I said I know my story can help a lot of people so when I get back from hunting at the end of this month I will have some pretty cool posts, I think so anyways lol 😂

We can all get caught up in the social scene, the way I look at it’s wasted time unless connecting with friends and family, getting motivated by someone or writing to help others. There are so many negative influences it can trigger my depression or just not happy mood. I’ve done what you said turned off notifications. When I go on Twitter it’s to follow Charities and help people who are reaching out due to mental illness or suicide. It’s made my life much easier and I feel better about myself.
I hope your brother gets some great photos to print or paint! He is such a good artist. When you get back, let’s see if we can build a gallery of some of your brother’s art. Followers can get a one minute vacation.
